"Read on Sight" serves as an effective tool for early readers to practice sight words, which are essential for developing independent reading skills. The gameplay begins with a sentence being read aloud, after which the word tiles are dispersed, allowing the player to reconstruct the sentence.

About Sight Words: 
At some stage, all readers transition from sounding out each letter to recognizing entire words and understanding their meanings. This ability is particularly crucial for frequently used words that do not lend themselves to phonetic decoding. The earlier a child acquires these sight words, the sooner they can read independently and confidently. In the 1930s, Edward Dolch compiled a list of commonly used yet phonetically challenging words based on his analysis of children's literature. Mastering this list equips young readers to accelerate their reading pace, enabling them to enjoy stories without being hindered by challenging vocabulary.
